Smarter Numbers, Smoother Workflows: Bookkeep’s Latest Updates for DTC Brands

For enterprise eCommerce and direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands, juggling high-volume transactions with accurate, real-time accounting can be a challenge. At Bookkeep, we’re always looking to lighten the load with solutions that streamline workflows and keep your team focused on growth.

Our latest integrations with NetSuite and Sage Intacct are built specifically to help eCommerce and DTC brands simplify accounting tasks, cut down on manual work, and save time. Here’s how these product updates can help keep your books clean, accurate, and ready for business.

NetSuite Integration: Built to Simplify Journal Entries and Improve Accuracy

Our NetSuite integration is officially live! This integration allows you to sync Bookkeep with NetSuite. In practice, this means daily automated journal entries from your POS or eCommerce platforms show up directly in your accounting software. By supporting NetSuite’s class, location, and department dimensions, Bookkeep makes it easy to categorize your data and keep records organized. This also provides you with a detailed look at your business’s performance across various areas, supporting more informed decisions.

Setting up the NetSuite integration is straightforward. Our system provides clear guidance through the Token-Based Authentication (TBA) setup, making the process simple and intuitive. Once connected, you can start mapping each line item of your journal entries to specific departments or locations, streamlining reconciliation and giving you granular insights into your data. With Bookkeep, every sale, fee, and deposit posts with precision, ensuring accurate, organized financial records in NetSuite.

Why This Matters
This integration eliminates time-consuming manual data entry, reducing errors and giving your finance team more time to focus on strategic tasks. Say goodbye to cluttered bank feeds and hello to streamlined, categorized transactions.

Sage Intacct Integration: Save Money While Simplifying Data Sync

For our Sage Intacct users, we’ve made a major upgrade that brings significant savings and efficiency. Bookkeep is now an approved partner and comes with its own Sender ID for Sage Intacct. And the best part? You can save up to $2,500 annually by eliminating the need to purchase a separate Sender ID (yes, really). Use Bookkeep’s built-in Sender ID, and you’re set to sync your financial data without any added expense.

With this update, setting up Sage Intacct is simple. You’ll only need a few details—user ID, company ID, and password—to connect your Sage Intacct account. Once connected, you can map your chart of accounts and sync transactions from your eCommerce and POS systems. Every sale, deposit, and fee is automatically recorded and categorized, helping you close your books faster without the usual back-and-forth.

Why This Matters
By handling the Sender ID, Bookkeep eliminates both an extra step and a significant expense. Plus, automated data syncing means fewer errors and a streamlined workflow for your finance team.
