A recap of Scaling New Heights 2021

Our CEO and Co-Founder, Jason Richelson had the privilege of presenting at the Scaling New Heights conference in Fort Worth, Texas this October 2021. In his power breakfast presentation “The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly of Accounting Automation”, he shared about the current integration landscape for accounting and how Bookkeep is improving this.

The Bad & The Ugly

Software engineers don’t understand accounting nor do they design applications with accountants and bookkeepers in mind. That’s why integrating into accounting platforms like QuickBooks and Xero is no easy feat. Sales receipts, payments, deposits, and everything in between are dumped by the hundreds with no warning and minimal structure. Inaccurate and duplicate entries are common. Simply put, it’s an accounting nightmare for so many of us who are trying to maintain their clients’ books and guide them toward financial success.

The Good

Smart accounting integrations (like Bookkeep) enable you to connect applications to your accounting software, quick and easy. The settings and interface provide you everything you need to get set up in minutes.

Duplicate posts? Never again. Accountants and bookkeepers are provided clear, simplified data that is automatically done, in the background, so you never miss a beat.

Bookkeep can connect to over 20 payment platforms–and we’re just getting started. We’re adding more every month. Our automation platform links each payment system with your accounting software, so entries are booked and recorded daily. We’re in the business of making our clients’ jobs and businesses run more efficiently. That’s why our automation is that much smarter.

Highlights

At SNH, we also connected with a number of our customers, many of whom are QuickBooks ProAdvisors. It was so rewarding to meet everyone in person! Check out some of the highlights below.
